The 32in Kogan LED television is available for $799.
Budget online retailer Kogan Technologies has announced the launch of two new televisions using LED backlighting technology. Available in 26in and 32in sizes, the as-yet-unnamed televisions are priced at $599 and $799, respectively — significantly less expensive than LED backlit TVs from brands such as Samsung, Sharp and LG.
Kogan’s LED televisions use 1366x768pixel panels, less than the Full HD standard of LED TVs from other manufacturers. The retailer claims dynamic contrast ratios of 3,000,000:1 for both screens, with a native 2000:1 ratio.
The televisions are available for purchase now on the Kogan online store, with an expected delivery date of mid-March.
