Top six sites to get products for free

The best places online to get free online downloads

Get Stuffs for Free

We have heard the adage 'Nothing in life comes for free' a thousand times, but in the wonderful online world you can be sure that the above saying can be proved otherwise. Yes, you can get absolutely free stuff if you do scout around on the Net. We are not referring to 'freeware' or 'open-source' software but talking about products that normally would cost you some dough.

There is a smorgasbord of sites offering all kinds of free stuff, but it is very difficult to discern which are genuine. Another caveat with all these so called 'free' sites is that you can't be sure if the freebies are valid for you or not (most of the offers are generally for a specific region).

So what we have tried to do here is to provide a list of the top reliable sources from where you can actually get a paid product (gadgets and software) for free every day. But do note that the sites referred to here offers one product a day and each product can be claimed for free on that particular day only.

One Paid Software for Free Every Day

If you are a software connoisseur, you probably would have heard of this popular site that offers licensed software for free every day - Giveaway of the Day. This site allows you to download paid software one-a-day for free.

The software on offer can be downloaded and installed on your PC only on that particular day -- which generally means that even if you have downloaded it on a valid day, it will not work if you try to install it on a later date.

One thing to keep in mind is that the software on offer are generally little-known titles and you must not expect top-notch apps every day. But you never know when software which can come in very handy crops up on the site. So keep an eye on the software on offer daily and you might be lucky enough to grab an excellent app any day.

Free Games for the Taking

As for software, there are tons of 'freeware' games but as usual these games are not usually up to scratch to their paid counterparts. Fortunately you can get your hands on good paid games for free with sites that let you download them on a particular day with no strings attached whatsoever.

The previously mention Giveaway of the Day site has a section for games where you can get games for free daily. Another very good place to get paid games for free every day is on the GameHouse site where there is a Today's Free Game section for downloading free games daily.

As mentioned previously the games on offer will not be the heavy-duty ones but those you can play on a low to medium configuration PCs. But still, free is free. Right?

High Quality iPhone/iPod Touch Apps Up for Grabs

If you have an iPhone/iPod Touch, you normally would be looking for apps to keep you occupied for some fun-filled hours or for productivity purposes. Any which way, these apps can make your iphone/iPod Touch much more interesting.

But most of the good apps available in the App Store generally cost money. Worry not, because there are a couple of good sites which offers generally paid apps for free. The best we can recommend is the free app a day site. The good thing about this site is that the apps that are on offers are carefully selected and only the ones they think are polished and high-quality are put up on their site as a free download.

Another good site for free apps is free app alert, it is a little different from what we have covered so far; it provides a list of apps which was previously not free but have become free now. These apps are not restricted for download on a particular day but can be downloaded anytime.

Gadgets for Free. Really!

Well, Well. We know that there are lots of sites that give away software and games but what about gadgets? There is actually a site, 1 Free a Day, that offers free gadgets every day with a catch -- you have to pay the shipping fee.

The gadgets on offer are generally small items and frankly speaking they're not that great, but as we mentioned before, nothing beats 'FREE'. It would be good not to expect too much on the kind of gadgets you can get since the list gets hardly updated.

LIFEBOOK UH574

The Fujitsu LifeBook UH574 allowed for great mobility without being obnoxiously heavy or clunky. Its twelve hours of battery life did not disappoint.

STYLISTIC Q702

The screen was particularly good. It is bright and visible from most angles, however heat is an issue, particularly around the Windows button on the front, and on the back where the battery housing is located.

STYLISTIC Q702

My first impression after unboxing the Q702 is that it is a nice looking unit. Styling is somewhat minimalist but very effective. The tablet part, once detached, has a nice weight, and no buttons or switches are located in awkward or intrusive positions.
