Toy Story 3 tie-in game offers open world mode

Disney Interactive Studios announced a Toy Story 3 tie-in game today that's coming out for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Nintendo DS, PlayStation Portable, and the iPhone/iPod Touch. No surprises there; but we were glad to hear there's an open world mode in the game that adds a touch of originality to the game called Toy Box.
In Toy Box mode, players can create their own adventures with toys like cowboys, space rangers, dinosaurs, and little green aliens. The mode is supposed to simulate what it's like to play with toys when you're a kid and the adventures are all in your imagination... except, this is a video game.
Still, the Toy Story 3 tie-in might pleasantly surprise us.
