Mobile Foxtel adds ABC1 and SBS One

Free-to-air TV channels to be streamed via Telstra’s Next G network

Telstra has today begun streaming the ABC1 and SBS One TV channels through the Mobile Foxtel service on its Next G Network.

Telstra mobile customers who subscribe to the Mobile Foxtel service will be able to watch shows that include Spicks and Specks, Doctor Who, World News Australia and The World Game.

The 32nd and 33rd channels on the service are available at no additional cost to subscribers of Telstra's Mobile Foxtel packs — which start at $12 per month or $4 per day, and carry no extra data charges.

Mobile Foxtel works on a range of mobile phones, including the iPhone and Android smartphones like HTC's Desire, and the service includes a remote recording function for home Foxtel subscribers with an iQ or iQ2 set-top box.
