Nintendo fanboys are celebrating the Japanese gaming juggernaut's announcement of the new Legend of Zelda, Golden Eye 007 and Golden Dawn games.

At the Nintendo E3 conference held in The Nokia Theatre, Los Angeles, the audience screamed for The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, the latest addition to the long revered Zelda family. The screams grew louder when legendary video game designer and Zelda creator, Shigeru Miyamoto, jumped from the screen and onto the stage.

He personally demonstrated Skyward Sword, designed specifically for the Wii MotionPlus, which pushes the Wiimote add-on to its limit.

Players can swing swords with precision and enemies are shown to require carefully aimed sword movements to be defeated.

Among Link’s arsenal are various ranged weapons, including a slingshot and a bow, which also utilises the Wii MotionPlus capabilities to its fullest.

Miyamoto had some difficulty with accuracy control during the demonstration but blamed it on Wi-Fi interference in the Nokia Theatre. He assured the audience Skyward Sword functioned well with the WiiMote and urged attendees to test it out at its E3 booth. The game is due out next year.

The critically acclaimed Golden Eye 007 for Wii was also announced. The game, which first appeared on the Nintendo 64 console, will be a remake and will (obviously) be given a marked graphics boost. Those old enough to remember the game will relish Nintendo’s promise that the memorable multiplayer component will be a focal point.

Golden Eye is set for release later this year.

Nintendo has also finally revealed the name of the next instalment in the RPG Golden Sun series.

Golden Sun: Dark Dawn is a direct sequel to the second game and will feature the descendents of the original cast.

Dark Dawn is also slated for a holiday release.

Other titles including Kirby: Epic Yarn, Mario Mix Sports and Epic Mickey were also shown.

Nintendo showed off more on the awaited 3DS and one of the first games to grace the new handheld. Click here to find out more.

HP OfficeJet Pro 8730

A smarter way to print for busy small business owners, combining speedy printing with scanning and copying, making it easier to produce high quality documents and images at a touch of a button.

HP OfficeJet Pro 8730

I've had a multifunction printer in the office going on 10 years now. It was a neat bit of kit back in the day -- print, copy, scan, fax -- when printing over WiFi felt a bit like magic. It’s seen better days though and an upgrade’s well overdue. This HP OfficeJet Pro 8730 looks like it ticks all the same boxes: print, copy, scan, and fax. (Really? Does anyone fax anything any more? I guess it's good to know the facility’s there, just in case.) Printing over WiFi is more-or- less standard these days.

Windows 10 / HP Spectre x360

Ultimately, I think the Windows 10 environment is excellent for me as it caters for so many different uses. The inclusion of the Xbox app is also great for when you need some downtime too!

Windows 10 / Lenovo Yoga 910

For me, the Xbox Play Anywhere is a great new feature as it allows you to play your current Xbox games with higher resolutions and better graphics without forking out extra cash for another copy. Although available titles are still scarce, but I’m sure it will grow in time.
