SanDisk Launches its Smallest-Ever USB Flash Drive

SanDisk's latest USB flash drive, the Cruzer Blade, weighs less than a penny and is the same size as a standard paper clip.

Memory maker SanDisk has ousted its latest USB flash drive, claiming it's the smallest that the company has ever released.

The USB flash drive, known as the SanDisk Cruzer Blade, weighs about the same as a penny, and is roughly as large as standard paper clip. That's small, but not the smallest ever--Engadget points out SanDisk was keen to stress that this is by no means the smallest USB drive ever; just the smallest that SanDisk has ever put out.

The Cruzer Blade comes in sizes ranging from 2GB to 16GB.
