Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars HD now available for Apple iPad

Chinatown Wars breaks onto iPad in HD

Rockstar Games' Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars HD for iPad is now available from the App Store. As its name implies, the remake injects the original iPhone action title with high-definition graphics that make good use of the Pad's 9.7in screen.

Like its iPhone predecessor, Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars HD features over 50 missions to plough through while gaming on the go, along with a pot-pourri of engaging side activities to partake in. The game follows reluctant gangster Huang Lee in a power struggle against Liberty City murderous underworld, with predictably violent results. Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars HD also includes Independence FM, a new tool that lets you customise your own in-game soundtrack using music from your iTunes library.

Featuring great visuals, responsive touch-screen controls and hours of fun gameplay, Chinatown Wars HD is one of the most exciting-looking games available for Apple's tablet.

LIFEBOOK UH574

The Fujitsu LifeBook UH574 allowed for great mobility without being obnoxiously heavy or clunky. Its twelve hours of battery life did not disappoint.

STYLISTIC Q702

The screen was particularly good. It is bright and visible from most angles, however heat is an issue, particularly around the Windows button on the front, and on the back where the battery housing is located.

STYLISTIC Q702

My first impression after unboxing the Q702 is that it is a nice looking unit. Styling is somewhat minimalist but very effective. The tablet part, once detached, has a nice weight, and no buttons or switches are located in awkward or intrusive positions.
