Twitter etiquette will be on the agenda when the social networking site's co-creator Dom Sagolla addresses the Australian Radio Conference next month.
Sagolla was a member of the team that created Twitter in 2006 and has written the book 140 Characters, a style guide for Twitter and short form communications.
He'll discuss the use of Twitter in the media and future implications for social networking and communications, at the conference in Melbourne on Friday, October 15, organisers Commercial Radio Australia said in a statement.
Also speaking at this year's conference will be radio veterans John Laws and Rod Muir as well as FM presenters Merrick Watts and Amanda Keller, who will participate in panel discussions.
The conference will be followed by the 22nd annual Australian Commercial Radio Awards on Saturday, October 16 at Melbourne's Crown Casino.
The commercial radio industry's big night will be hosted by Australian comedy duo Roy and HG, and feature performances by The Potbelleez, Amy Meredith and DJs Havana Brown and Special Ed.
This year's awards will cover 33 categories and include a new award for Best New Digital Radio Format.
