LogMeIn targets Android tablets

LogMeIn has announced a new version of its LogMeIn Ignition remote access app that has been optimised for tablets running Google's Android operating system, such as the Optus MyTab, the Samsung Galaxy Tab and the Dell Streak.
LogMeIn Ignition offers remote desktop access to Macs and Windows PCs. According to LogMeIn, the iPad version of the app, which launched in April 2010, is one of the highest grossing apps in Apple's App Store.
New features in the updated version of Ignition include wake-on-LAN, remote sound and multi-monitor switching.
The new version of the app will be available free to owners of the current version of Ignition for Android. The app can be purchased from the Android Market for US$29.99.
