Kingston launches Class 10 microSDHC cards

Kingston's SDC10/4GB and SDC10/8GB rated at 10MBps

Kingston today announced it has started shipping 4GB and 8GB Class 10 microSDHC cards, offering a minimum sustained write rate of 10 megabytes per second. The company also sells a 16GB Class 10 microSDHC card.

"Kingston’s Class 10 microSDHC cards are compatible with many of the latest mobile phones including Android smartphones and BlackBerry devices, hi-def cameras and the increasingly popular tablet PCs," said Kingston's Nathan Su.

The 4GB card has an RRP of $8.45, while the 8GB model costs $21. The 16GB microSDHC card retails for $114. Each card comes with a lifetime warranty. The three cards are also available in kits that include a USB card reader and an SD card adapter.
