Samsung Galaxy S II

Why: It was a tough call between the Samsung Galaxy S II and the iPhone 4S for 2nd place in our top 2011 list, but the Galaxy S II gets the nod for its huge screen and excellent performance. It has a few minor flaws, but none should be enough to deter potential buyers: the Galaxy S II is simply an exceptional smartphone and one of the most popular tech devices of the year.
