Borderlands 2 coming to Australia in September

Pre-orders will be rewarded with a Borderlands 2 Premier club access, according to 2K Games.

Games publisher, 2K Games, has announced Borderlands 2 will be hitting Australian shelves on September 21.

The sequel to the 2009 space and western-themed FPS action roleplaying game was first announced in August last year. It will be available for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Windows-based PCs.

Borderlands was renowned for its fast-paced shooter action and impressive cell-shaded graphics and four-player cooperative gameplay.

Gearbox Software, which developed the first game, is working on Borderlands 2.

Those that pre-order the game from participating retailers will receive access to the Borderlands 2 Premier club, which entitles them to in-game items and bonuses.
