Apple to launch new iPad in 30 additional countries this weekend

Apple's third-generation tablet will launch on 11 and 12 May in Brazil and 29 other countries

Apple will launch its new iPad in 30 additional countries this weekend, including Brazil, Chile, Egypt and Jamaica.

Apple's iPad selection page for Latin America shows that the new iPad will be arriving in 13 new countries on Friday 11 May, which are Argentina, Aruba, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Costa Rica, Curacao Ecuador, French Guiana, Guandeloupe, Jamaica, Martinique and Peru.

MacRumors reports that several other countries will also see the launch of the new iPad this weekend. On 11 May, the new iPad will arrive in Botwana, Cambodia, Kenya, Madagascar, Malta, Mauritius, Morocco, Peru, Taiwan, Tunisia and Vietnam. On 12 May Bahrain, Egypt, Jordan, Kuwait, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and United Arab Emirates will be able to get their hands on Apple's latest tablet.

Apple has not yet launched the new iPad in Honduras, Indonesia, Micargua, Paraguay and the Philippines, but the iPad 2 is being sold at a lower price in those countries while the company awaits certification to sell its third-generation tablet.

The new iPad is also not yet available to buy in China's mainland due to ongoing iPad trademark lawsuits in the country.

On 5 May, Apple quietly launched the new iPad in Turkey, and, as of 12 May, the new iPad will be available to buy in almost 90 countries.

LIFEBOOK UH574

The Fujitsu LifeBook UH574 allowed for great mobility without being obnoxiously heavy or clunky. Its twelve hours of battery life did not disappoint.

STYLISTIC Q702

The screen was particularly good. It is bright and visible from most angles, however heat is an issue, particularly around the Windows button on the front, and on the back where the battery housing is located.

STYLISTIC Q702

My first impression after unboxing the Q702 is that it is a nice looking unit. Styling is somewhat minimalist but very effective. The tablet part, once detached, has a nice weight, and no buttons or switches are located in awkward or intrusive positions.
