Detailed hands-on video of iPhone 5 front panel hits the web

The iPhone 5 could have a 4.065in display with a smaller home button

A hands-on video of the supposed front panel of the next generation iPhone provides a detailed comparison between the iPhone 4S's front panel and the alleged leaked panel from Apple's supply chain.

ETradesupply posted the video, which was created by iPhone5parts.net, along with a blog detailing the dimensions of the front panel. The leaked part, which is described as the "iPhone 5 glass lens" is 90.25mm long and 51.60mm wide, while the iPhone 4S is 76.65mm long with the same 51.60 width. These new dimensions leave a display area of 4.065in, 0.455in bigger than the iPhone 4S's display.

The blog also claims that the iPhone 5's display is made with the same material as the iPhone 4S, but it 0.1mm thinner.

The leaked part also indicated that the front facing camera hole on the iPhone 5 will be positioned in the middle of the device, rather than the left as it is in the iPhone 4S. The report states that the camera could be smaller on the iPhone 5.

According to the report, the light sensor has moved to the right side of the iPhone, and has decreased in size, and the diameter of the home button hole has been reduced by 0.3mm.

It is expected that the iPhone 5 (or new iPhone) will arrive on 12 September at a special Apple event. Rumours suggest that it will be thinner and taller, with a two-tone metal back and a smaller dock connector.

I’d happily recommend this touchscreen laptop and Windows 10 as a great way to get serious work done at a desk or on the road.

Ultimately, I think the Windows 10 environment is excellent for me as it caters for so many different uses. The inclusion of the Xbox app is also great for when you need some downtime too!

For me, the Xbox Play Anywhere is a great new feature as it allows you to play your current Xbox games with higher resolutions and better graphics without forking out extra cash for another copy. Although available titles are still scarce, but I’m sure it will grow in time.

For work use, Microsoft Word and Excel programs pre-installed on the device are adequate for preparing short documents.
