There are thousands upon thousands of iPad cases on the market and that makes it hard to decide which one is right for you. If you're on the hunt for a stylish and practical iPad case, Evouni's new Leather Arc Cover for iPad may be worth a look.

Made from Italian calfskin leather, the Evouni Leather Arc Cover for iPad is one of the best designed cases we've come across. It resembles a foldable, leather cover that protects the iPad's screen when closed, while an elastic band hooks onto a metallic buckle to keep it closed. It fits both the iPad 2 and the new iPad.

Where the Leather Arc Cover for iPad really differs, however, is its ability to act as a stand. You can fold the leather cover back in a variety of different shapes to prop up your iPad. It folds in a circular shape to stand the iPad almost upright, folds back slightly to angle the screen towards you for typing, or folds in an 'S' shape to sit at various other angles.

There's no set way to fold the case, either. To prop the iPad at a higher angle, just experiment with the way you fold or roll the leather cover. Evouni outlines a few shapes on the back of the sales package, but we tried a few others with reasonable success.

The flexibility this case offers is its best feature — most other cases that act as a stand can only position the iPad at one or two angles. At $120 it certainly doesn't come cheap, but if you're after something different, it might be worth a look.

The Evouni Leather Arc Cover for iPad and other products for the iPad and iPhone are available in Australia through GeekCool Inc.

LIFEBOOK UH574

The Fujitsu LifeBook UH574 allowed for great mobility without being obnoxiously heavy or clunky. Its twelve hours of battery life did not disappoint.

STYLISTIC Q702

The screen was particularly good. It is bright and visible from most angles, however heat is an issue, particularly around the Windows button on the front, and on the back where the battery housing is located.

STYLISTIC Q702

My first impression after unboxing the Q702 is that it is a nice looking unit. Styling is somewhat minimalist but very effective. The tablet part, once detached, has a nice weight, and no buttons or switches are located in awkward or intrusive positions.
