Apple to release iOS 6.0.1 update with major bug fixes within weeks

The company is also believed to be working on iOS 6.1 for release in new year

Apple is testing iOS 6.0.1, which includes a fix for the keyboard bug, and resolves a camera flash issue, according to reports.

BGR reports that a 'reliable Apple source' has said that Apple's iOS 6.0.1 is being tested with different carriers in the US.

Among the changes that are expected to arrive with the update, BGR's report notes that it should "fix the horizontal lines bug on the screen when the keyboard or app folder is open, and it will also fix a problem with the camera's flash not going off."

BGR also says that Apple's iOS 6 update will improve WiFi support, fix some cellular data issues, add a consolidated cellular switch for iTunes Match, fix Passbook security bug, and fix the bug that caused Exchange meetings to be cancelled.

Apple has also begun working on iOS 6.1, says the source, indicating that the iPad mini won't have the larger update to its operating system when it launches on Friday.

LIFEBOOK UH574

The Fujitsu LifeBook UH574 allowed for great mobility without being obnoxiously heavy or clunky. Its twelve hours of battery life did not disappoint.

STYLISTIC Q702

The screen was particularly good. It is bright and visible from most angles, however heat is an issue, particularly around the Windows button on the front, and on the back where the battery housing is located.

STYLISTIC Q702

My first impression after unboxing the Q702 is that it is a nice looking unit. Styling is somewhat minimalist but very effective. The tablet part, once detached, has a nice weight, and no buttons or switches are located in awkward or intrusive positions.
