CatchOfTheDay turns six, gives away prizes

Online retailer runs 12 hour campaign to promote company milestone

Online retailer, CatchOfTheDay, is marking its sixth anniversary and is doing so by giving presents away.

According to CatchOfTheDay co-founder Gabby Leibovic, over $150,000 worth of goods is expected to be given away as part of the birthday celebration.

However, CatchOfTheDay will only be doing it for 12 hours, with one item featured every ten minutes.

“One freebie every ten minutes means a total of 72 giveaway opportunities,” Leibovic said.

There are some rules to the giveaway, such as strictly limited stock, but those who get in quick have the opportunity to get various gadgets for free.

With gifts such as iPhone 5, PlayStation 3, and Samsung Galaxy Tab 2, competition by CatchOfTheDay fans is expected to be fierce.

The promotion starts at an undisclosed time on Wednesday, October 31, and will be announced over the online retailer's email, Facebook and Twitter channels.

“People will need to subscribe, like or follow CatchOfTheDay or they will miss the beginning,” Leibovic said.
