Analyst: Two-thirds of Apple's three million new iPad sales were iPad minis

An analyst has predicted that Apple has sold two million iPad minis since its launch last week

An analyst has predicted that Apple has sold two million iPad minis since its launch last week.

Apple on Monday announced that it had sold three million iPads during the three days since the launch of the iPad mini and iPad 4, but the company didn't specify separate numbers for the two devices.

"We estimate that two-thirds, or 2 million plus, of the units [were] iPad minis," analyst Brian Marshall from ISI Group said in a note to clients.

Marshall predicts that Apple will sell a total of five million iPad mini units this quarter, aided by the release of the WiFi plus 4G models which are set to arrive within the next few weeks, although no specific date has been announced yet.

Research has found that Apple has sold out of 16GB iPad mini models in most stores, and there is limited stock of the 32GB and 64GB models left. Many customers who pre-ordered the iPad mini have been left waiting, as Apple works to meet the demand for the device.

HP OfficeJet Pro 8730

I've had a multifunction printer in the office going on 10 years now. It was a neat bit of kit back in the day -- print, copy, scan, fax -- when printing over WiFi felt a bit like magic. It’s seen better days though and an upgrade’s well overdue. This HP OfficeJet Pro 8730 looks like it ticks all the same boxes: print, copy, scan, and fax. (Really? Does anyone fax anything any more? I guess it's good to know the facility’s there, just in case.) Printing over WiFi is more-or- less standard these days.

Windows 10 / HP Spectre x360

Ultimately, I think the Windows 10 environment is excellent for me as it caters for so many different uses. The inclusion of the Xbox app is also great for when you need some downtime too!

For me, the Xbox Play Anywhere is a great new feature as it allows you to play your current Xbox games with higher resolutions and better graphics without forking out extra cash for another copy. Although available titles are still scarce, but I’m sure it will grow in time.
