Telstra, Optus, Vodafone Australia and Virgin Mobile are identified among a total of 183 global carriers that will sell the device.

The HTC One is expected to be available for purchase in Australia next month, though there's been no word yet on a fixed release date or pricing details. The phone is 4G compatible in Australia on the 1800MHz network band.

HTC Australia will officially unveil the One at a media event in Sydney tomorrow.

Great! It's about time we got something really fresh. I'm looking forward to it. Looks like a beast of a phone. Tired of the "Select option A - IPhone 5, Select option B - The Galaxy S3" choices. This should raise the bar a little bit. Nice..I like it.

Same old same old, they give us a rough date , then let us watch the cariers to try and out fox each other on the release date and pricing. We won't know the full details until the week before the release.
