CAN'T WAIT!! Hope they don't have them on outrageous plans like always because I like my plan and have the cash to buy outright!
I am so sick of being screwed by the telco's when is it available for outright sale?

Yes me too sick of the prices these telcos put up its ridiculous I would prefer to buy outright but given the new phones out its a bit hard to fork out $600+ for a new one so would be nice to see them (telcos) be a bit more reasonable for the millions that go on a plan. they are making enough money.

If the USA phones are the same check out E Bay I can source 4 at $US500 each but also don't know what the circumstances surround warranty issues would be, but it shows what a rip off it is if singly around $US850

BB and Michael Jones, do u know what you are talking about? Telcos make very little profit considering they need to buy the phone from the manufacturer and then recoup the cost WHILE remaining competitive in the market. Telstra may have made a lot of money by selling off the copper network but they aren't making a mint on mobiles. Their main revenue stream is from fixed services.

You people wont be happy unless new phones are $0 on a $30 Unlimited plan. Stop complaining. If you want new shiny things you have to pay for them. Stop whining.

I love my S3 and the idea of purchasing from eBay etc is appealing but I've had my S3 4G back under warranty already for a board replacement. If the warranty isn't global, you're in trouble. The S3 4G has a pretty high fault rate from my and my customers experiences.

when they say soon... do they mean within a month.. or 3 or 6? Because I can renew my plan in a month and get any phone.. hopefully its out!
