New ad by Apple showcases iPhone 5 camera

Apple has posted a new video on its YouTube channel promoting the iPhone 5 camera

Apple has recently uploaded a new ad to its YouTube channel called "Photos Every Day," which is designed to show-off the capabilities of the iPhone 5's camera.

None

Apple has averted from its usual advertising tactics; rather than just displaying the iPhone 5's features with a white backdrop, the company has included people using the phone this time.

Within the ad, the iPhone 5 is used to take photos whilst on a run, on the beach, skateboarding, and it is also made to capture images of plants, snow, clubbing, and jellyfish.

The advert also exhibits the iPhone 5's panorama feature, across a range of different backgrounds; the city, the mountainside, a forest and the sea. The panorama feature lets you shoot up to 240 degrees, with the gyroscope, A6 chip and Camera app working together to create a seamless shot.

Apple's previous campaign employed a series of words appearing across the screen to demonstrate a variety of different iOS apps. However, 'Photos Every Day' does not display any specs, features, or apps concerning the iPhone 5. Only photos taken from around the world. The ad ends with the statement: "Everyday more photos are taken with the iPhone than any other camera."

The statement is likely referring to statistics from Flickr, which reveals the iPhone 5 to be the most popular camera used on the website, with over 47,000 uploads from nearly 4,000 users in one day only.

The iPhone 5's 8MP iSight camera uses HDR for better colour and tone, as well as reduced blur. The Camera app also lets you edit your photos, removing red-eye, cropping, rotating and enhancing.

LIFEBOOK UH574

The Fujitsu LifeBook UH574 allowed for great mobility without being obnoxiously heavy or clunky. Its twelve hours of battery life did not disappoint.

STYLISTIC Q702

The screen was particularly good. It is bright and visible from most angles, however heat is an issue, particularly around the Windows button on the front, and on the back where the battery housing is located.

STYLISTIC Q702

My first impression after unboxing the Q702 is that it is a nice looking unit. Styling is somewhat minimalist but very effective. The tablet part, once detached, has a nice weight, and no buttons or switches are located in awkward or intrusive positions.
