Optus subsidiary starts ADSL service

The service, called NetAccess ADSL, available in city and metropolitan areas, will provide speeds up to 2Mbps/256Kbs.

The company said the service would be targeted to SMEs and businesses with a number of branches requiring high-speed connectivity to each other or to a head office.

Unlike consumer ADSL products on the market, XYZed said its services would provide a sustained information rate, business grade service level assurances and a fixed IP address.
