The telco revealed the Galaxy S4 Mini will be available to purchase in-store and online from Tuesday, 17 September.

The Galaxy S4 Mini will be sold on four Telstra plans, all over 24 months. The hero plan appears to be a $4 monthly handset repayment on Telstra's $60 plan, which includes $600 worth of calls and MMS messages, unlimited SMS messages, and 1GB of data per month.

The Galaxy S4 is also available with no additional handset repayments on Telstra's $80, $100, and $130 plans.

Telstra says customers who pre-order the Galaxy S4 Mini online before Tuesday, 17 September will receive a free Fitbit Flex activity tracker, valued at $119.95.

The 4G-capable Galaxy S4 Mini is basically a smaller, cut down version of Samsung's original Galaxy S4. The device is 12mm shorter and over 8mm less in width and is targeted directly at users who might find the Galaxy S4 and other flagship smartphones too large.

The phone has a 4.3in screen with a qHD resolution of 540x960 compared to the full HD resolution of its larger model, while its camera has also been downgraded from 13-megapixels to 8-megapixels.

The Galaxy S4 Mini is powered by a 1.7GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor, has 1.5GB of RAM and comes with 8GB of internal memory, while a microSD card slot allows for memory expansion.

HP OfficeJet Pro 8730

A smarter way to print for busy small business owners, combining speedy printing with scanning and copying, making it easier to produce high quality documents and images at a touch of a button.

HP OfficeJet Pro 8730

I've had a multifunction printer in the office going on 10 years now. It was a neat bit of kit back in the day -- print, copy, scan, fax -- when printing over WiFi felt a bit like magic. It’s seen better days though and an upgrade’s well overdue. This HP OfficeJet Pro 8730 looks like it ticks all the same boxes: print, copy, scan, and fax. (Really? Does anyone fax anything any more? I guess it's good to know the facility’s there, just in case.) Printing over WiFi is more-or- less standard these days.

I’d happily recommend this touchscreen laptop and Windows 10 as a great way to get serious work done at a desk or on the road.

Ultimately, I think the Windows 10 environment is excellent for me as it caters for so many different uses. The inclusion of the Xbox app is also great for when you need some downtime too!

For me, the Xbox Play Anywhere is a great new feature as it allows you to play your current Xbox games with higher resolutions and better graphics without forking out extra cash for another copy. Although available titles are still scarce, but I’m sure it will grow in time.
