Pinnacle DV500 - digital video editor

Many editors are now looking at the potential of loading completed video to the Web or using it for multimedia presentations, which requires the video to be used from CD or DVD. DV500 is bundled with a lite version of Minerva's quite powerful multimedia authoring software called Impression. My only criticism regards the poor instructions on how to use the software. Most editors will be new to this type of authoring and the kit really does need some better assistance. Online help comes to the rescue, but you will need to devote some time to learning the basics. Once you have done this, you will find Impression relatively easy to use.
The DV500 offers users superb performance and dramatically increases productivity, at an affordable price. Essentially, makers of DV-based video can now take advantage of the popular DV format to capture, edit and deliver digital video to tape, interactive disc (CD or DVD) and the Internet.
