Primus searches for Google solution

Primus has partnered with Google in order to help grow its online presence and provide its customers with direct search.
Google will now provide users of www.iprimus.com.au, www.primusonline.com.au and www.aol.com.au with Google Web Search.
Primus General Manager of product development Campbell Sallabank said the move was a natural extension of acquiring AOL/7 from America Online, AAPT and Seven Network in February this year.
"AOL already had a relationship with Google, so we are just extending this onto our other sites," Sallabank said.
"Online has so far not been a major part of our business, but we expect this to grow by 100 per cent or more in the next 12 months," he said.
In a press statement, senior vice president of Google worldwide sales said the partnership would prove valuable for Google, Primus, local advertisers and end users.
"Google will provide relevant, useful information about products and services to iPrimus users, while ensuring that Google Adwords advertisers extend their reach," he said.
iPrimus currently has 12 million page impressions per month.
