Optus offers unlimited data for new home broadband bundles

Gives customers freedom to enjoy more online streaming content

Optus is offering new and recontracting customers unlimited data with all new home broadband bundles from May 2, giving customers the freedom to enjoy online streaming content without the worry of exceeding data allowance.

“With 31 per cent of Australian households using content streaming services such as Netflix and Stan, the demand for data has never been greater. Extending it to all our new broadband bundles means customers will never have to ration their broadband data,” Optus managing director of marketing and product, Ben White, said.

“Optus has great unlimited data bundles for customers connected to the nbn, Optus’ cable and ADSL 2+ networks. Plus, customers connected to Optus’ DSL network will also have unlimited data with our range of Optus Reach bundles. So, no matter which new bundle they choose, customers now have the freedom of unlimited data,” he added.

Customers connected to the nbn, or Optus’ cable or ADSL 2+ networks can choose between a range of great value bundles, including:

  • My Basics with unlimited standard local calls to landlines
  • My Entertainment which offers unlimited standard local, national and mobile calls, and Yes TV by Fetch with a Connect Pack*
  • My Entertainment Plus with unlimited standard local, national, mobile and international calls to selected countries, with Yes TV by Fetch with an Entertainment Pack

Customers on the Optus DSL network can choose between one of the Optus Reach bundles, both with unlimited data.

  • Reach Entertainment Plus with unlimited standard local, national, mobile and international calls to selected countries, with Yes TV by Fetch with the Entertainment Pack

HP OfficeJet Pro 8730

I've had a multifunction printer in the office going on 10 years now. It was a neat bit of kit back in the day -- print, copy, scan, fax -- when printing over WiFi felt a bit like magic. It’s seen better days though and an upgrade’s well overdue. This HP OfficeJet Pro 8730 looks like it ticks all the same boxes: print, copy, scan, and fax. (Really? Does anyone fax anything any more? I guess it's good to know the facility’s there, just in case.) Printing over WiFi is more-or- less standard these days.

Windows 10 / HP Spectre x360

Ultimately, I think the Windows 10 environment is excellent for me as it caters for so many different uses. The inclusion of the Xbox app is also great for when you need some downtime too!

Windows 10 / Lenovo Yoga 910

For me, the Xbox Play Anywhere is a great new feature as it allows you to play your current Xbox games with higher resolutions and better graphics without forking out extra cash for another copy. Although available titles are still scarce, but I’m sure it will grow in time.
