Hoyts has recently launched their movie rental service, HomeScreen - similar to rival services by Telstra (www.fetchmemovies.com.au) and Optus (www.quickflix.com.au). There are currently a number of pre-Christmas deals for online DVD rentals. See story.

There are four different monthly plans available (2 DVDs-$29.95, 3 DVDs-$36.95, 4 DVDs-$47.95 and 5 DVDs-$58.95). The DVDs are delivered via Australia Post in re-usable prepaid envelopes. Offering a free one-month trial, HomeScreen lets you select titles and prioritise them. Higher priority titles are delivered first and should arrive within two working days, depending on availability.
