Of the group, 19 companies will be showcasing their products and services at the exhibition, which this year attracted 7400 exhibitors from over 59 countries. The remaining three companies will be attending as visitors.
The response from delegates who attended this years CeBIT trade fair was positive according to Austrade, with the Australian contingent reporting 374 quality sales leads, and signing nine distributor agreements.
Austrade's National Manager (ICT), Walter Gheller, said that CeBIT was recognised worldwide by industry players as the premier event at which to exhibit, providing participants with the opportunity to showcase their products to some 750,000 potential customers, generate sales leads, identify new business partners and benchmark themselves against the world's best.
One company that will be attending CeBIT, Sydney-based data capture and wireless technology solution provider, DataTrack Solutions, is looking forward to the opportunity of taking their products global.
"We've recently signed up a publishing agreement for our product, QuickTrack, in South East Asia and Australia but the rest of the world is what we're after. We've got three more products well and truly in the pipeline and under development now, so by the time we get to CeBIT we'll take those as well," said Lindsay Walker, managing director of DataTrack.
