Sydney wireless service provider Unwired has launched new entry-level plans aimed at migrating dial-up customers to broadband.
The ISP has announced two plans which sit between dial-up and broadband speeds and prices. Offering download speeds of 64Kbps and 128Kbps, the plans are priced at $15.95 and $19.95 respectively. Both have a 200MB download allowance.
"The plans are perfect for customers who want to have a taste of what broadband can deliver before committing to broadband," said Unwired CEO, David Spence.
The company also made a range of changes to its broadband plans. Most notable is that the 12-month contract period for new subscribers has been scrapped.
The ISP also introduced the 256Kbps "Step-up" broadband plan. This includes 200MB of downloads for $29.95.
