Webtender

Cocktail parties are always great fun. It starts off a swinging success, then the blender usually overheats from overuse. The kitchen floor becomes a sugary swamp, and by the end of the party, the guests who have consumed more than their share of the evening's delights decide to make atrocious cocktails from the remaining ingredients. Sound familiar?

Well, Webtender is more than just a cocktail book online. With recipes for over 5000 drinks, this simply designed site is a gem. Not only can you browse and search for those favourite maladies, you can select random drinks, and check out the bartender's handbook (complete with drinking games). Best of all is the "In my bar" search for which you list the contents of your bar, plus mixers, then the database tells you which bevvies can be concocted. Now, if only this device had been to hand for my last cocktail do!

STYLISTIC Q702

The screen was particularly good. It is bright and visible from most angles, however heat is an issue, particularly around the Windows button on the front, and on the back where the battery housing is located.

STYLISTIC Q702

My first impression after unboxing the Q702 is that it is a nice looking unit. Styling is somewhat minimalist but very effective. The tablet part, once detached, has a nice weight, and no buttons or switches are located in awkward or intrusive positions.
