If you love the big screen feel of going to the movies, but don't like sharing a cinema with the other patrons who arrive late, munch on lollies and chips, and block your view of the screen - then Sharp may be the answer to your prayers with the release next month of its 60in monitor. Using continuous-grain technology in its LCD panels, Sharp has designed a sheer, flat glass panel display which includes four component input terminals for DTV, HDTV and DVD, as well as composite video input and output terminals - to connect with an array of audiovisual equipment.
