DVD is already becoming a mainstay in Australia, and Pioneer is continuing its push into this market with the launch of its new DVD player this month, which supports the dual standards of PAL and NTSC. Features of the player include a frame search function, DTS audio support, and CD-R disc playback. A video blackboard allows users to add freehand or graphic elements to still or moving images, not unlike the sort used by the cricket commentators when highlighting a bowling or batting style during the motion replay - Tony Grieg, eat your heart out!
