Online real-time credit card verification is also possible; the downside is that this is only available through a US vendor. True to its word, Drumbeat 2000 can create flexible online systems very quickly once you have mastered the nuances. The tutorials, wizards, help functions and manuals are of a very high quality.
I like Drumbeat, and the e-commerce edition does its job admirably - with the previous caveats. If I had to build a full e-commerce site, I would certainly use it in preference to other applications. However, to quickly throw together more basic sites, this version of Drumbeat is probably too much, and it's pricey at $915.
