Budget LCD projector

Toshiba's TLP-S10 tackles the competition head on with a $2099 price tag. Cheap it may be, but the TLP-S10 is still feature-packed. At 2.2kg it's the most lightweight model in its price range and has a brightness rating of 1200 ANSI lumens.

23 inch Flat-Panel Display

Despite its glorious 23in screen space, the L2320A is just 6.6cm thick and its 14.4kg frame makes it relatively comfortable to carry over short distances.

Top DVD writer

As with most new DVD writers, the DRU-510AK supports both DVD+R/RW and DVD-R/RW. The user-friendly DVD-RAM standard has been omitted, but with DVD+RW and DVD-RW both supported, users are unlikely to find media becoming obsolete any time soon.

Multiformat DVD writer

Not that long ago, the debate among DVD enthusiasts was which writeable format would win out. LG’s new DVD writer is compatible not just with the major DVD+R/+RW and DVD-R/-RW formats, but also with the increasingly obscure DVD-RAM.

Samsung has long specialised in that irresistible combination of ravishing case design, high-calibre image quality and a beautifully pitched pricing strategy. The SyncMaster 172T is another winning model that gives the competition plenty to chew on.

Buying on looks alone can land you in deep water in the IT market, and in no area is this more true than the flat panel sector. At first glance the Neovo looks every bit the office essential — its polished glass screen and fold-down stand both sugges...

One of the new breed of multifunction devices (MFD), the HP psc 2210’s elegant design distances it from the habitually bland models that proliferate on the market. That’s not to say that the 2210 is all about looks. Printer, scanner, copying and fax ...

STYLISTIC Q702

The screen was particularly good. It is bright and visible from most angles, however heat is an issue, particularly around the Windows button on the front, and on the back where the battery housing is located.

STYLISTIC Q702

My first impression after unboxing the Q702 is that it is a nice looking unit. Styling is somewhat minimalist but very effective. The tablet part, once detached, has a nice weight, and no buttons or switches are located in awkward or intrusive positions.
