    Driving titles can, broadly speaking, be divided into two categories. You’ve got the instant-thrill games -- so easy that you don’t even have to take your foot (or finger) off the accelerator. Second, the painfully complicated titles aim to be as authentic as possible but generally make you chew through your lower lip in frustration.

    Everyone loses their temper from time to time, but Dr Bruce Banner seems to have a shorter fuse than most. Getting hacked off causes a freakish transformation in him that makes Mr Hyde look like a fluffy bunny rabbit.

    When I loaded up Zoombinis, I thought I was in for a sweet and cuddly kid’s game with nothing in it to challenge my developed, worldly mind. However, my afternoon didn’t turn out to be as comfortable as I had thought.

    Recently hitting the shelves, Chaser is an impressive-looking FPS (first-person shooter). I was lucky enough to get my hands on some preview code, and to say it blew my socks off would be something of an understatement. From the minute Chaser was up and running I was drawn by the stunning visuals and exciting storyline.

    A new snooker world champion, Mark Williams, was recently crowned following a nail-bitting final in the 17-day world championship series. The 2002 champion, Peter Ebdon, was challenging for the title and I, for one, was surprised he didn’t win again, because he’s a pretty handy player.

    If you had a Sega MegaDrive in the early 1990s, chances are you'll have heard of ToeJam and Earl. The coolest aliens in the galaxy provided me with many hours of fun, laughs and funky tunes in my youth. So when I heard that they were going to make another appearance, this time on the Xbox, I jumped for joy.
