This is ridiculous

These ToS clauses exist in virtually every site that allows users to upload content. Hey, guess who owns royalty free rights to distribute this comment? If you're going to distribute user content, you require those rights or else you can't distribute them. This is a poor example of journalism and any sources sited in this article pointing fingers at Google specifically as opposed to services in general should all have their authority on the subject brought into question. I found this article so terribly informed that I couldn't just let it slide.
