gotalk declares VoIP war 18/10/2009 12:43:00

IN BRIEF: Aggressive Trans Tasman full service/broadband/VoIP telco gotalk today launched another salvo in the current escalating VoIP price war – hotly disputing competitor Engin’s claim to have “the best offer on the market”. Announcing a range of “improved” VoIP plans today, a confident gotalk CEO Steve Picton said his new plans “will persuade thousands of customers to change service providers.” “We believe our combination of market leading monthly included calling allowances and low calling rates, plus the fact that gotalk customers will no longer have their service suspended if calling inclusions are exceeded, makes gotalk’s VoIP plans virtually unbeatable,” CEO Steve Picton said today.
