For the same price as a mid-range 42in HDTV, Sony's VPL-BW7 projector provides a larger image with decent quality. High brightness and contrast mean the VPL-BW7's image is still somewhat visible in a well-lit area, though don't expect the best quality in less than optimal surroundings.

The InFocus IN1503 is a business DLP projector with a widescreen 1280x800 resolution, a 1800:1 contrast ratio and a 3000 lumen ANSI brightness rating. It performs exceptionally well in dark and bright rooms for business presentations — displaying crisp and clean images — and in a pinch it can also be used for some reasonably high quality movie watching.

The InFocus IN5108 is a large, powerful projector that is designed for displaying images in bright environments. It does this capably, and it also acquits itself well when displaying high-definition video.

When Infocus talks portable, they don't beat about the bush. The Work Big IN10 is a pocket rocket of a projector. It projects good quality images and can be carried around in a bag that's smaller than most women would carry under their arm. It is a DLP projector and has a native resolution of 1024x768 pixels. It can project sources that are 16:9 aspect ratio via interpolation but it is primarily a 4:3 business projector. While it works quite well, it is not without its problems. However, these are the same issues we have been seeing in Infocus business projectors for some time now.

NSW-based audio-visual importer Image Design Technology (IDT) has been named the exclusive distributor for HaiVision video-over IP boxes in Australia and New Zealand.

The Play Big IN78 is the latest DLP home theatre projector from Infocus. With a native resolution of 1280x720, it's ideal for high definition gaming or watching movies. The design is identical to previous Play Big models and the specifications are basically the same as the Infocus [[prodid:3134]]. In fact, apart from a slight increase in the contrast ratio, this is essentially the same unit as the IN76, and even mimics its performance. Thankfully, the IN76 is an excellent projector, but those looking to upgrade from the IN76 need not bother.

The InFocus Work Big IN26+ is a DLP projector with a 1024x768 native resolution that's designed primarily for business use. The IN26+ is almost identical to the IN26. The only difference between the two models is the brightness rating and, of course, the price tag.

The slim InFocus IN36 is InFocus' latest entry into the business projector market. With a 3000 ANSI lumens brightness rating and a 1000:1 contrast ratio, it's clearly targeted at the professional market, as these specifications make it ideal for presentations. However, in practice we found a few image quality issues that detracted from the overall quality of this unit.

The InFocus Work Big IN26 is a 1024x768 native resolution DLP projector designed for business use. It performs well with only a handful of minor flaws, has an excellent throw distance and a more than adequate range of connection options. Like other InFocus business projectors, to get the most out of the IN26, users will need to calibrate it a little as the under default settings the colours are a little inaccurate. However, with a small amount of time invested, this projector is sure to impress at any office presentation.
