The HP Mini 5101 feels more like a regular laptop than a netbook and this is because of its sturdy construction, relatively good speed and excellent keyboard design. Not only that, it looks good and it has a 1366x768 screen. There really isn't too much wrong with this netbook at all, and we think it's probably the best netbook currently available on the market.

The Fujitsu LifeBook P8020 (3.5G) notebook is a good looking, lightweight and feature-rich laptop that is best suited to users who work frequently while travelling. At $3999, it's slightly better value than the Toshiba Portege R600, but we think the Fujitsu would be improved by a solid state drive and wider keys.

With the latest upgrade, the price gap between the Mac Mini and other Apple computers has widened. For the price, you get decent power and a small case that will fit into the tightest of spaces.

The Acer Aspire One AOD150 is one of the best netbooks on the market. It has a 160GB hard drive, a beautiful 10.2in screen, and, despite being tiny, it is not too uncomfortable to use.

It might not look pretty, but the Lenovo ThinkPad T400 6473TBM sure feels good to use. You should definitely consider it if you want a laptop that will be comfortable to use either on the road or in the office and you don't need a lot of speed for taxing tasks.
