Firefox crashes

Hi all,

Firefox crashes when i visit certain sites. The error Windows XP gives me is that it has to do with msvcr80.dll. I've done a search and it appears it might be related to a Java problem, but i've reinstalled it without success. I use Firefox 3.0.8.

I also thought it might have to do with the StumbleUpon toolbar, so i disabled it, but the crashes still occur.

Any other things i can try?

Thanks

AVG SafeSearch

The problem seems to have gone away since i disabled the AVG SafeSearch add-on. I guess it's a matter of going through all the add-ons and finding out which one is causing the problem.

Sounds kind of strange. I'm using Firefox and also AVG with XP and have never had any problems with it.
Then again, I have the safe search addon disabled too.
