Best Printer for Postcard Printing

I want to print postcards (6x4" to 7x5") and wish to hear what is the best one to get. It needs to be quite quick and handle thicker traditional card stock (thicker than glossy photo paper). It also needs to best fairly economical and handle up to say 50-100 sheets at once. I am willing to pay up to $500-700. Any ideas on inkjet or lasers would be most welcome.

Can you be a little more

Can you be a little more specific on the thickness requirements? Most inkjet printers will be able to handle 230-250gsm, though 300+gsm will be a stretch.

If you want something with good quality but on the modest side of things, you can go for something like the HP Photosmart C5380 (http://www.goodgearguide.com.au/review/printers_scanners/hp/photosmart_c...). Otherwise, something along the lines of Epson's Stylus Photo 1410 (http://epson.com.au/products/inkjet/stylusPhoto1410.asp) could be more along your lines.

Kodak Printers

Kodak printers, it's good enough for the job and you will save a fortune in ink cost.
