Centrex CTDV100 not finding stations

Hi guys (have this question in home ent also)
Hope you can help.
Dug out the Centrex CTDV100 today (bought some years ago) and I cannot get it to pick up any channels at all? I seems to be working fine other wise as been playing tetris on it and all functions seem to work though I don't have the manual any more so do not know the password, this shouldn't affect the search though.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Cheers
Wayne Curtis

Is your antenna working properly?

Hi,

Stating the obvious here, but have you made sure the connecions between your STB and the antenna are secure? Also, it could be a weak signal. Are you using a roof antenna or rabbit ears? If rabbit ears, might need to move them to another location; if a roof antenna, does it work with other TVs in the house?

I'm not familiar with the Centrex model, so don't have any specific advice. Have you tried multiple rescans? I have an old Strong STB and sometimes it won't find any channels on the first couple of scans and other scans will find everything except seven.

If you can get into the configuration pages, try and enter the frequency for each channel manually.

It's getting harder to find

It's getting harder to find the individual frequencies for the stations. ABC has a good tool on its site though, so you can try the frequency for ABC to see if the manual method will work for the Centrex.

Hope this helps.
