Backup RAID Controller on IBM x3500 server

Hi, I have two IBM x3500 servers and I want to backup the configuration of the RAID Controllers, because I,m afraid if some of them fail I will lose all my database and files. Can someone help me, because I have no idea how to do it

ServeRAID Configuration backup

If it's ServeRAID, you can use the ipssend command to make a backup of your configuration otherwise the configuration is store on the drives and so an "Import Config From Drive" from the ServeRAID's bios make you recover your config in case your controller was dead.

ServeRAID Configuration backup

When the server boots up there will be a screen that will state that it's a ServerRaid Controller. Also the controller should have come with software to put on your system.
Have a look at http://downloadcenter.intel.com/SearchResult.aspx?lang=eng&keyword=%22se...

Lookup your raid controller and have a read in the FAQ's and/or download the software needed.
Also call Intel as they have excellent support.
