Bluetooth

I have a Bluetooth headset. The dongle I plug in works fine however, I have another type of dongle and the headset does not work yet it detects my mobile phone whereas the first does not.

Please tell me I am wrong when I say that there are different dongles for different functions.

In ignorance,

John.

Hi John, You may not be able

Hi John,

You may not be able to connect different products with different Bluetooth Adapters.
You will need to confirm that the drivers and bundled software will support the additional applications you require - such as they of connection to your phone and/or headset.

Some BT adapters which are bundled with items such as headsets, wireless mice/keyboards, etc. Will only work correctly with the products it was intended to work with.

Check the software that came with the device and see how you go.

Hope this helps.

Cheers,
