Counter-Strike Dedicated Server Vs. The Firewall (1 post)

Dear PC World Readers,

My friend has a major problem setting up a server for Half-Life: Counter-Strike. He has cable connectivity and wants to be able to set it up successfully, but there is one problem: he has a firewall (ZoneAlarm) which appears to send out a fake IP. In other words, people can't be sure (of the billions of combinations) which IP to connect to.

Is there anyway to turn off the Firewall completely so it sends out a correct IP?

This is what the dedicated server screen looked like after a couple of lines garbage:
IPX server not found; IPX disabled
Reason: WEANOTSOCK
Server IP 10.0.0.0:27015

With gratitude,
Joseph
