How would you go about zipping files and backing them up to a common server from different locations.

VPN connections which can be scheduled to connect, transfer and disconnect, or you can buy online storage from many isp's.
To use VPN effectively you must use a connection plan with high speed upload, or it will take forever.

Nero offers an off-site back-up service. I haven't explored it but I'm presuming that it would offer various back-up services- Full, differential etc. Cost????
