I wish to save old video tapes to CD-ROM. My computer has Firewire and USB ports and runs Vista Home Premium as the operating system. How can I accomplish this if at all?

Re: Importing analog video from tape to your hard drive
You do this by fitting a video capture card, internal or USB, but don't, as the quality leaves much to be desired. Instead buy or borrow a DVD / hard disk video recorder - one with VHS built in or one you can plug your existing VHS machine into. These are designed to do the job and will do it far better than the PC.
