Half-Life (2 posts)

I have a 15' 1554e Mitsubishi monitor at home capable of running at a maximum resolution of 1024 x 768 (at 60 Hz).

The problem is that when I play 'half-life' I can only choose resolutions up to, and including, 800 x 600. First of all I thought it was my graphics card, but i have a 32MB TNT2 so this couldn't be the problem.

On the other hand, I don't think it is the monitor since I can easily choose 1024 x 768 when I'm on my desktop. So I think it must be the game. I've tried to update it to the latest patch but still i can't choose 1024 x 768.

What's going on?

Re: Half-Life

in the configuration menu of half life and under the Video menu option. Try selecting a different video mode. Instead of direct3d try OPenGl, software mode in for people without GPUs.

See how you go, alternatively if youare using a TNT2, download the latest Detenator 3 drivers from nvidia.com
