Peer-to-peer with Win2k (2 posts)

I have 2 Win2k machine setup and try to network them through an Ethernet hub. Everytime I fire the machines up, the PIII 550 machine freezes but the other machine, a AMD k2-400, works fine. I did make it work under Win98 environment. Any idea how to fix this?

When does it freeze?

1st make sure that your network adaptors are both set to have auto IP addresses and that tcp/ip is installed properly.

Check that both are in the same workgroup.
