Amiga games (5 posts)

I know this is a long shot and not related to pc's but here goes.

Apart from Ebay does anybody know where you can buy Commodore Amiga 500 games?

I just got an Amiga 500 from ebay and wish to relive my past.

Regards

David

Re: Amiga games

You are pushing the old games here. I know of commodore 64 emulators that you can run on your pc with thousands of downloadable programs.
Try a search for amiga 500 or even ebay might be able to help. Otherwise, wait for someone who had an amiga.

Good luck in your search.

John.

Re: Amiga games

I need help. I bought PC World minibooks over 50 free games on the 6/12/2003.

I just downloaded the game from the CD. The game I downloaded was 'America's Army'. I started the training that you have to do in the game but when I got to a part in the game where you have to get atleast 23 out of 40 to pass. I get to reload the gun to shoot the gun once, then when I reload again I shoot about 3 bullets before the game freezes, then turns off. Can you help me?

Then, when the game is off I get an error message saying something about the label in the training section.

not sure how that relates to this thread but...

what version are you running? go to:
http://www.americasarmy.com/downloads/
and download the latest patch. version 2.0.0a.

Also, what Operating System, video card and CPU and how much RAM do you have? This game requires a fairly decent system to run it properly. You may need to upgrade some of your hardware.

This game has been up there with the best for the last couple of years and it looks like it's going to stay there for a while.

RE: David's original question about Amiga games. eBay will be your best bet. Try searching for "Items available to Australia". This way you don't limit yourself to Australia only auctions but you get to see overseas auctions that are willing to post to Australia.

Hope that helps both of you.

These guys are in Lithgow NSW and are known as a seller called coverwave eBay.

They don't list Amigas but they might be able to help you.

Good luck.
